  • Curriculum Fee: $100 ($75 when registering 3 or more)
  • In our ProCom Writing Classes, students practice writing across various genres, providing feedback, and presenting in small and large groups.
  • For Middle and High School ProCom this coming year, we have a special focus on equipping students for their future, in both practical and spiritual ways. Assignments will include designing resumes, exploring careers, participating in interviews, and working on applications. We will also learn about popular religions and philosophies through film and how to analyze the messages through a Biblical lens. We will enjoy reflecting on our learning about these messages by composing in different genres, including movie reviews, fan fiction, and song lyrics.
  • Students in Career Exploration (high school) and World Geography and Cultures (middle school) will benefit from this focus, as there is integration between classes and assignments. However, participation in these other classes is not required for ProCom assignments, which are designed as stand-alone projects.
  • Students will participate in all stages of the writing process, which includes prewriting, drafting, revising, and editing. Concepts for writing assignments will be taught in class, and assignments will be posted in the students’ Google Classroom. Students will also complete and submit their writing assignments and provide feedback to their peers in this online environment.
