Capital Christian Homeschool Community of Michigan stands on the following beliefs:

1. The Bible is the perfect Word of God:
   • 2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is God-breathed.”
2. God is the holy, uncreated Creator of all things:
   • Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”
   • John 1:3 “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.”
3. God made all things good:
   • Genesis 1: 31 “And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.”
4. God made humans male and female, and thus defines marriage:
   • Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them.”
   • Matthew 19:4-6: “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh.”
5. Sin entered the world:
   • Romans 5:12 “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned-“
6. All mankind and all creation is corrupted by sin:
   • Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
   • Romans 8:22: “The whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.” 
7. Jesus lived a sinless life, died, and rose again:
   • 1 John 3:5: “You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.”
   • 1 Corinthians 15:3-4: “Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.”
   • 1 Peter 3:18: “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.”
8. Salvation from the law of sin and death comes through faith in Jesus:
   • Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
   • Acts 16:31 “And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
